ผลการตัดสินรางวัลสมาคมเคมีแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2554
คณะกรรมการตัดสินรางวัลสมาคมเคมีแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2554 พิจารณาแล้วเห็นสมควรมอบรางวัลให้กับบุคคลต่างๆดังมีรายนามต่อไปนี้
 
1. CST High Impact Chemist Award 2011

เนื่องด้วยจะมีการจัดประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี 2554 ของสมาคมเคมีแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ในวันพุธที่ 11 มกราคม 2555 เวลา 12.00-13.15 น. ระหว่างการประชุมวิชาการ PACCON 2012 ณ ห้องประชุม Petcharat ชั้น ๒ ศูนย์ประชุมนานาชาติ โรงแรมดิเอ็มเพรสเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยมีวาระการประชุมดังนี้
วาระที่ 1 : เรื่องรับรองรายงานการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี 2553
วาระที่ 2 : กิจกรรมของสมาคมเคมีแห่งประเทศไทยฯในรอบปีที่ผ่านมา
วาระที่ 3 : รับรองฐานะการเงินและงบดุล
วาระที่ 4 : อื่นๆ (ถ้ามี)

Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conferences –PACCONs- provide an international forum whereby chemistry oriented scientists from around the world can meet and present their work alongside nationally and internationally renowned scientist.

The Conference comprised both oral and poster presentations in English with optional publication of full papers in the conference proceedings.

รางวัลสมาคมเคมีแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2554

Chemical Society of Thailand organized a get-together tea party for woman chemists with a theme of “Women Sharing a Chemical Moment in Time” on January 6, 2011 during The International Conference on Pure and Applied Chemistry 2011 (PACCON 2011) held in Bangkok, Thailand.

At the IUPAC Biennial Council Meeting in Glasgow, UK, 6 August 2009, the CHEMRAWN VII Prize for Atmospheric and Green Chemistry was first announced. The first Prize was awarded in 2010 at the 3^rd IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry held in Ottawa, Canada. The Prize of USD 5 000 is granted to a young investigator (less than 45 years of age) from a developing country who is actively contributing to research in Green Chemistry and Atmospheric Chemistry.

วารสาร Angewandte Chemie International Edition ซึ่งเป็นวารสารชั้นนำทางด้านเคมีได้ฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปี โดยการจัดการประชุมสัมมนาที่โตเกียวและปักกิ่ง เมื่อวันที่ 20 และ 22 มิถุนายน 2554 ที่ผ่านมา จุดเด่นหนึ่งของงานนี้ คือ การให้สัมมนาของนักเคมีที่ได้รับรางวัลโนเบล อาทิเช่น ศาสตราจารย์ Ryoji Noyori, ศาสตราจารย์ Barry Sharpless และ ศาสตราจารย์ Hartmul Michel
