Membership

 

There are six categories of membership.
  1. Regular members are (i) one who has a degree in Chemistry, or (ii) one who has a degree in chemical science and works in the field of chemistry for more than two years, or (iii) one who graduated with a degree or certificate in other fields with at least two years of chemistry courses and works in the field of chemistry for more than two years, or (iv) one who works in the field of chemistry and is responsible for the subject for more than two years.
  2. Honorary members are persons who have attained acknowledged eminence in the field of chemistry and are invited by the membership committee.
  3. Affiliate members are those who are interested in chemistry subject and their applications for the membership are approved by the membership committee.
  4. Institutional members are education or research institutes, governmental organizations, or other non-profit organizations whose membership applications are approved by the membership committee.
  5. Corporate members are corporate entities not included in 4, such as company, department store, industrial plant or factory, who apply for the membership and the application is granted by the membership committee.
  6. Student members are undergraduate students majoring in any field of chemical science who apply for the membership and receive an approval from the membership committee. Except for honorary members, if you would like to become a member, you must submit the membership application to the societyฟs secretary and pay the membership dues. After the membership committee approves your application, your membership status will be attained.
