The Chemical Society of Thailand maintains at least 15 and not more than 25 committee members, consisting of chairperson, vice-chairpersons, secretariat, vice-secretariat, financial officer, public relation officer, registrar officer, and other appropriate positions. The committee members can hold the positions for a term of two years at a time and may continue to serve no longer than four years. If any position becomes vacant before the term is met, the chairperson of the committee may assign the position to another appropriate society member, but the newly assigned officer may not serve longer than the remaining time of the current term.

The committee members are to serve the purposes of the society by regularly maintaining various activities. The committee members will hold general meetings at least six meetings a year. To be a valid general meeting, there must be at least half of all the committee members attending and there must be records of meeting minutes every time. Decisions made on various issues will be made based on voting results of committee members. The chairperson will have an equal vote as other members. If the vote counts are equal, the chairperson has the deciding vote.
