Assoc. Prof. Supawan Tantayanon, the present president of the Chemical Society of Thailand, has developed educational materials in cooperation with UNESCO, i.e., a workbook containing instructions for practical experimentation in organic chemistry using a Small-Lab Kit developed by Chulalongkorn University and containing small scale apparatus. Thus this is the challenge of making experimentation safer, cost effective and environmentally sound. The publication corresponds fully to the higher educational level including Masters Level and can also be used for teacher training for application in higher secondary education.
